MBACP Counselling & Psychotherapy

I am a qualified, experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist with experience in a wide range of issues from depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, low self-esteem, anger and bereavement. Counselling could help you understand these problems and help you work through them in a more constructive way. Sometimes life may be challenging, confusing and difficult to work out on your own and I offer a confidential, non-judgemental and safe environment, where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Therapies Offered:

I work with adults on a one to one basis taking a Psychodynamic approach which recognises that present difficulties may stem from earlier life experiences. In addition to this approach, I also work within an Integrative model which includes aspects of Systemic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). By using different theoretical models, I will be working in a way which I feel is suited to your individual needs and difficulties. I offer long and short-term therapy to suit each individual person and their needs.

I understand that taking that first step towards receiving help can often be daunting and difficult. If you feel that counselling is something you would like to consider, please feel free to make contact by either telephone or email to arrange a mutually convenient time for an assessment. This will give you the opportunity to discuss your needs and to see if counselling is right for you.
